First heeard this song on Triple M's "Love songs and dedications", I think. Another 20 years and I don't see why all classic rock format stations won't be playing this. But seriously, this is Cookie Monster's first band, and he has the voice of an angel here. First heard this song on the 4 cd compilation "20 Years of Nuclear Blast". Got rid of that pretty quick...the first 2 cds were, I'm guessing, a combination of black and death metal. This Belphegor song stood out amongst the dross...it's majestic, you could say. The Anthrax song on those first 2 cds was the only track which didn't have the Cookie Monster vocals. The other 2 cds, were, I'm guessing, a mix of power metal and gothic metal...if such a thing exists. That metal is a lot slower and prettier than this Belphegor track. More heavy metal tracks in the IDs below...including a Slayer track if you like the hard and fast stuff. The Helloween and Sonata Arctica tracks are examples of the slower and prettier metal songs...those two are in the 2nd ID, below. Slayer is in the first ID below. Anyway, ditched the compilation and bought the albums these songs I like came off of...the Sonata Arctica album was the only real dud. www.classicrockfm.com.au/ www.classicrockfm.com.au/
