This song seems really heavy metal to me...at least towards the end. Off of Genesis' "Trespass" album, which was fronted by Peter Gabriel at the time...that album is pretty mellow, but this song wakes you up at the end!
Some of the rhythms and lyrics seem heavy metal to me...like stuff Metallica would delve into on more than one album.
