Born and bought up in Sydney, Kate has certainly ensured she’s spent enough time outside the big city, completing her Degree in Communications at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2001.
Following this with a post graduate diploma at the Australian Film Television and Radio School Kate accepted her first job in radio in Adelaide in 2003 and then continued a 5 year radio stint in Sydney.
Kate also explored television opportunities during this time, making regular appearances on Sky News’ Political Show ‘180 Otherside of the News’, The Morning Show on Channel 7 and has also appeared on Sunrise, Channel 7 News, ABC News and Video Hits.
Also a skilled Writer, Kate assumed the fill in role of social journalist for the Sun Herald in 2008.
2010 was another big year for Kate, who became a mother to Scarlett.
Her first child has been added to the top of the diverse list of Kate’s passions. Travel also features at the top of the list, joined by reading, food, wine, exercise, outdoors but its people that Kate has the most time for.
Kate's mantra is ‘everyone has an interesting story and something you can learn from them.’
