Michael Jackson's former physician Dr. Conrad Murray is set to appeal against his involuntary manslaughter conviction -- without an attorney.

Last week Murray was sentenced to four years in jail after being deemed responsible for MJ's death.

Murray has revealed he will be challenging the decision and will represent himself in court.

Murray is serving his sentence at the Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles.

One of Murray's lawyers, Nareg Gourjian, told TMZ: "This case presents a gold mine of issues for any appellate lawyer.  Dr. Murray is confident that the Court of Appeal will vindicate him."
